I triy to import Visio Drawind files in Aris Express 2.2. The import start but then the message
Falsche Dateiversion (kein Vorlagenname). Die Datei <filename> liegt nicht im Format Visio 2007 vor.
The file is a Visio 2007 file. I saved it again as 2007 drawing without success.

Thanks for the info but I´ve already checked this. I saved the file as microsoft visio drawing (*.vdx) but it doesn't work.

I got this error message as well. It seemed that the my problem occured since the Visio file I tried to import did not have any information on which Visio template it was based on.
You can check this in Visio 2007 under File - Properties - General. There is a section with "Based on:". The file should be based on one of the stencils that are available in the Visio-ARIS mapping.
I solved my problem by creating a new Visio drawing based on the stencil EPC diagram (metric). After it was created I copied the drawing from my original Visio file into the new one. Now it was possible to import.

Please check that you select Visio 2007 file format (*.vdx) during save, because it might use an older format per default as all Microsoft Office 2007 products do.
