Mass deletes of relationships

I think you could only do that using a small report. I'm not aware of some kind of click-magic to do it.

An update to the situation. 

My original question came about from the situation where I deleted all models that documented a certain set of connections between objects and I reorganized the database.  While the objects were contained in other models, the relationships based on the connection were no longer documented in any model.  After the reorganization, I expected the relationships to no longer appear associated with the objects, i.e, no longer appear on the Relationship tab when viewing the Properites for the object.  However, this was not the case.  The relationships still appeared even though no model contained them.

Since the "orphaned" relationships involved hundreds of objects, manually deleting the relationships is not practical. 

Since then, I've asked around and it appears this situation of the relationship remaining even if no model documents the relationship may be a bug.  I'm using ARIS 7.1 SR5. I've reported it to our internal IT support who has reported it to  IDS Scheer.  I'm currently waiting for an answer.

As a final note, I resolved my original situation by deleting all the objects and regenerating the models with the correct relationships.  At this particular time, this was a workable solution.  However, in the future, deleting objects may not be feasible.

as you might remember I created a "dummy content" database that contained all model & object types, relationships and attributes that is different from the work database. Then I created the filter based on that dummy database.

Did you try to merge one example of your model types into a new database and maintain the information there? What happens if you create a new filter from there? Maybe you have to run the filter wizard on the new filter, to check if all models/objects/attributes/connections are included.

When you apply that new filter to your work database, the relationships shouldn't show up anymore (but are still in your database).

It is not the case of merging content from one database into another one and using the wrong filter.

We got word back from IDS Scheer support that it is a bug in the Reorganize command that does not remove connections that no longer appear on any model.  Their recommendation is to upgrade to SR8.  We are currently at SR5.

Understood. I thought not about using a wrong filter, but creating a new one that does not show the unwanted items (e.g. attributes) or allow certain relationships.

The issue with the "orphaned" relationship is not their appearance on a model but they still exist in the repository connecting objects that should not be connected.  When I run a report, those "orphaned" relationship show up on reports giving erroneous information.
