Is there any way to find out what modellers have edited/updated a specific model?
I can see who created the model and who last updated it, and clearly there is the audit log when it is published, but I want to see a complete list of who has amended it in between any of these events.
Many thanks

Hi Jude,
Unfortunately, ARIS has no built-in functionality to track the full history of changes and the users who modified a particular model. Maintaining such a history for every model, object, and component would make the repository enormous.
A few things I would suggest:
1. Backups. If you have automated backups, you can restore a backup from a date before the issue occurred and compare the model with its current state. It can help identify what was changed and when. Generally, I recommend running automated server-side backups at least once a day, preferably twice a day.
2. Access rights. Normally, the area of the repository where a particular user can make changes should be reasonably restricted. For example, if something was modified in the Finance domain, you should have a relatively small group of users who could have made that change. So this is also a question of how access rights to specific models and repository areas are managed.
3. Macros. We also experimented with another approach some time ago, though I wouldn't call it particularly efficient. You can develop a macro that automatically writes a local log entry every time a user saves a model, recording the model name, timestamp, and username. You can then collect these logs from individual users' computers to reconstruct who worked on which models.
However, this approach has two problems. First, such macros can generate significant additional system load, which is why they are rarely used for this purpose. Second, not every corporate IT security policy allows applications to write log files locally on users' machines.
