Hello Community,
We are highly interested in leveraging the "Purchase to Pay - SAP" accelerator for our process mining initiative.

However, due to strict internal security policies, we are unable to establish a direct network connection from ARIS to our live SAP source system.
As a workaround, we are wondering if it is possible to manually extract the required SAP source tables into CSV files, and then import them into ARIS to still utilize the accelerator's pre-defined transformations, data models, and dashboards?
Has anyone successfully implemented this accelerator under similar security constraints? If you have any workarounds, alternative approaches, or best practices to share, your insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello Kazunori,
Yes, this should be possible in principle, provided that the CSV files follow the same structure expected by the accelerator.
You would need to extract one CSV file per required SAP source table and upload these files in the DATA / SOURCE TABLES section. The important point is that the CSV files should match the expected structure of the original SAP tables, including table names, column names, data types, and formats.
A practical approach would be:
In short, the workaround should work, but the main success factor is keeping the CSV-based source tables as close as possible to the structure expected by the accelerator.
Best regards,
