Hello,
using the object "Group" as structural element in BPMN to group several objects you have a problem in the viewer. It is not possible to select single objects within the group pointing on the object. Instead the whole group is always activated and you can not see the attributes of the objects but only the attributes of the group. The designer shows that group and objects are not "grouped".
I found out, that the viewer works well, when you first create the group and then create e.g. the task within the group. But this is not the normal way to work. Normally you have a model with objects and want to structure it e.g. for comments placing the group over the objects.
Any explanation for this behaviour? Any workarounds/functions/method changes? Or is it a bug (ARIS versions: 10.0.26.0.310013113 / 10.0.24.0.4348212).

Hello,
I found it out. The behaviour in the viewer depends on whether the group or included object is arranged as "forward" or "backward" (see icon "Arrange" in the designer). To come to the expected behaviour in the viewer you must set the group as "backward" object or all embedded objects as "forward" object.
The problem is
(1) modeler must know this
(2) you cannot see the forward/backward status in the designer.
So at the end is stays as a bug, but I can live with it.
