Symbol lock after XML import

Hi,

While trying to import XML (ARIS 98.7.0.1127174), I encountered an error that

"XYZ Worflow Library: symbol Merge is locked by user1@default"

and the import terminated. When I contacted support, I was asked to use the ARIS Server Administrator and use the command called "freesymbollocks <dbname>". When I list all the databases in my installation, I see the "XYZ Workflow Library" in the list. However, when I ran the freesymbollocks command, it does not seem to recognize the database.

Has anyone successfully ran this command? If so, can you please let me know the correct syntax that I should use?

Update:

I renamed the database to remove the spaces, so, now it is XYZWorkflowLibrary
I added "Merge" to the command line; so the command now is "freesymbollocks XYZWorkflowLibrary Merge"; this cleared the lock and the XML import started successfully

Hi Bala,

Any idea why does this error occur? I could not see this freesymbollocks command in any of the ARIS docs or forums (except you post)?

Where can we find more details about it ?
