Aris Publisher Setup with MSSQL DB

Hi,

I'm trying to install an ARIS PUBLISHER SERVER with MSSQL database

The Publisher server is 98.2.0.1043013

The Database il SQL2012

The "ARIS Server Installation and Administration Guide" Release 2 - October 2015 tell me to insert this values:

Server:

Port

Instance name

Database name

Application user

Password

Default Schema

Master Schema

The Form "Connection Database Parameter" instead ask me to insert non Default Schema anche Master Schema, but "Data file group" and "Index file group".

I've tried to insert the defaults values ("ARIS9DBDATA" and "ARIS9DBINDEX") but Setup give me an error.

Where I'm wrong

Any suggest?

Did you first run the create_db.sql script (it's on the installation DVD) to create the MS SQL database and the DATA and INDEX table spaces?

You can then enter the table spaces names in the installation wizard at 'Data file group' and 'Index file group'.

Hi Remco,

and thanks for your replay.

I've executed the script and the setup now is ok

But now when I try to connect to BusinessPublisher at

http://10.80.4.46:19990/businesspublisher

the page returns me a generic error "An error occurred. Please contact your administrator"

How can I understand if it's a DB connection problem or a UMC connection problem o an internal publisher bug?

There is a log?
