Has anyone had issues because they are using the UK English Language, e.g., have you lost any custom setup / semantic checks because they were not copied to the USA language after an ARIS Update?
Also a lot of the posts on this forum are really old, should they be deleted/archived being out of date?

I don’t think this is limited to UK English.
From our experience, after almost every ARIS Cloud update, something breaks or gets reset: template settings, sometimes custom renaming of methodology elements such as connections, attributes, or object types. So I would treat this as a broader Cloud update/configuration stability issue, not only a language-specific one.
Honestly, apart from moving to on-prem / ARIS Enterprise, I don’t really see a reliable workaround. We have only one remaining customer on ARIS Cloud, and once their subscription ends, we plan to move them to Enterprise as well.
After the last claim here on the Community, things have improved a bit. But overall, in my opinion, ARIS Cloud feels like a dead-end path
