For those of you that perform Object Consolidations with Aris (Client or Connect) I thought it would be useful if I pointed out a Bug the I have found. Note: I have raised a ticket with SAG and they are investigating. No resolution yet, but I will post the outcome here.
The Aris Documentation ARIS Help-Consolidate for Relationships states:
The main point and where the Bug lies is that Relationships of Redundant Objects should be ADDED to the Master Object, but this is NOT occurring. The Relationships of redundant objects are being DELETED and NET NEW Relationships are CREATED between the Redundant Objects and the Master Object.
This may not be a problem for many of you Aris Users, but we collect important Relationship Attributes on Relationships in our Models and having that information Deleted is a serious problem for us.
Anyway, just thought I would make this problem visible to all just in case it has or will impact you.
