ARIS Education Package - Process Design & Analysis

Hello,

I have downoloaded ARIS Education Package - Process Design & Analysis for students from your FTP, but unfortunately I am not able to unpacked it. I have tried to downloaded twice, I have used 7-zip and Total Commander but neither of them worked. The problem is with the file "AEP-PDA_1.1_Student.vmdk".

Hi Martin,

It doesn't seems to be compressed setup file. ".vmdk" is a Virtual machine HDD. You will need Virtual Box (https://www.virtualbox.org) or VMware, and attach this HDD file to the virtual machine. If you have downloaded it, there must be step by step help for using it.

Hi,

I know that ".vmdk" is a Virtual machine HDD, but I downloaded ARIS Education Package - Process Design & Analysis for students from FTP in ".zip" file which includes that ".vmdk" and some others but I can not unpacked that ".zip" file.

I have folowed the instructions:

download 5 files from FTP
connect them (7-zip)
unpack the file...unfortunately I can not do this step. :( I have used 7-zip and tried Total Commander as well, but neither of them worked. :(

Please can you check whether all files on your FTP server are OK?

Hello everybody!

Thanks for letting us know about this incident. I just rechecked the files and must admit that these seem to be corrupted. I am just doing a re-upload of the mentioned files.

I will let you know here when this is completed. Sorry for all the trouble. Hope the benefits of the software make up for it ;)

Hello everybody,

The corrupted files are deleted now. I re-uploaded the working ones. Furthermore I downloaded them from the ftp-server just like you do and the files extracted just fine for me now.

So you can start your downloads again ;)

Hope the files will work for you this time, too. Please let me know here if they do or do not.
