Integrating Aris with other applications in the estate

This is my advice:

1. ARIS can ingest any types of data depending on your needs. For process modelling and repository integration, ARIS typically receives master and metadata such as: names, IDs, descriptions, etc. furthermore, you can also store documents in the Aris Document Storage so ARIS can ingest documents/byte arrays as well.
2. For modelling data, the preferred approach is an API-led integration. The ARIS Repository API can read repository content and create or update certain objects and attributes, however its write capabilities have limitations. Those limitations can be resolved using ARIS reports which pretty much can do anything, only limitation of reports is the starting. Currently they can only be scheduled, not called/executed via API.
3. Not necessarily. It depends entirely on the selected source fields. Process and application metadata can usually be integrated without PII by using organizational roles/groups.
4. Completely depending on the consuming application, ARIS can provide any model, object or user data. Basically anything which is stored in ARIS.
