Can anyone please let me know where can I find the connection string for MSSQL Server in ARIS 9.6.
In ARIS 7.2, we can find that in Lockservice.cfg under \server\config folder. But I was not able to find any such in ARIS 9.6
Hi,
I am not sure where the connection configuration is stored, but you can view and modify it via ARIS Cloud Controller. To see external services use the command: "list external services". Your database service has probably the id db0000000000, so you can see the configuration with the acc command: "show external service db0000000000".
The administration manual does not have an instruction how to modify this and the only way I have found is to feed all the parameters again even if only want to change one of them. Something like this:
update external service db0000000000 defaultAutoCommit=false driverClassName=”com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver” host=”yourhostname” url=”jdbc:sqlserver://yoursqlservername:1433;DatabaseName=CIP;instance=yourinstanceName” logAbandoned=true maxActive=100 maxIdle=15 maxWait=10000 username=ARIS9 password=”yourpassword” port=”yourportnumber”
Better test this in a test environment first. And if someone knows how to change a single parameter I would be glad to hear.
