Aris Server Access over internet

ARIS isn't friendly to NAT therefore it does not work. We have tried similar things in our environment and does not work. IDSSCHEER helpdesk advised us NAT is not supported.

I have tested serveral configurations without success so i agrea that ARIS and NAT are not friendly. So if I want to access a single ARIS server in different countries how can I do ?

1 - VPN : In my case virtual IP are translate so it's like NAT, it doesn't work.

2 - Installing ARIS Server on a server with public IP and configuring SSL, do you ever test it ? Do you have any information about this ? Do you think it's secure ?

I hope you'll give me any advise about this question.

I haven't tested the second option above.

There are other solutions like VD (Virtual Desktops). With this a user can be allocated a VD which then allows to connect through the company network where ARIS server is centrally located. Using ARIS then won't be a problem.

This exercise and solution can be very costly as the no of user base increases. I don't know whether this is viable within your environment.
