We have a custom model based on Enterprise BPMN process diagram. We have custom sub-process. hence we want to remove the default symbol. but this is locked. Also they are grouped together. We also want to list them separately. Is there an option?
The subprocess symbol is actually two symbols: "Subprocess" and "Subprocess (collapsed)". You would need to derive new symbols from both versions and define custom symbols for them. And I suppose you would have to exclude the standard symbols from your method filter. However I'm not sure if this will work well, because the standard collapsed symbol has the + symbol for expanding the subprocess, which does a lot of magic. I doubt whether your custom symbol can be convinced to wield the same spell. What I have seen in practice are custom symbols derived from "Task" with other custom decorators.
