Problems with function allocation diagram

Hi all,

I have a problem with the function allocation diagram: The functions can not connect with the proposed edge. Does anyone know why this might be? Thanks in advance!

send an example.. dfficult to imagine what exactly you want to do..

and take in account that ARIS is a syntaxix editor... You can only create objects allowed for the model by the ARIS metamodel....

HiSina,

A FAD's purpose is to describe all the business objects around a specific function. It basically describes that function with all the possible details. It is not supposed to be used to show flow like on the EPC where you can chain a couple of functions together.

So with that in mind, ARIS does not allow you to link two functions in the FAD, even though this is possible in the EPC...
