Is it mandatory that we should upgrade to 9.X Versions to 7.2 .Shall we continue using 7.2 licenses.

Hello Soundarya,
another consideration: Afaik Oracle ceases Java 1.7 maintenance in April, support for ARIS with Java 1.8 only starts with ARIS 9.8, to be released soon. So here is such a point to think about.

afaik with your maintenance contract you get a corresponding number of ARIS 9 licenses, provided that you discontinue using the 7.2 licenses thereafter. The decision is up to you to move to ARIS 9.x or not. There won't be any bug fixes for ARIS 7.2 any more. It has reached end of maintenance. So at the latest when your operating system gets de-supported by Microsoft you will need to do something. If other security critical issues should occur, the urge to migrate might come earlier.
