This is available since release 10.2025.12 and yes, it needs a simulation licence for Connect. So depending on your deployment and update cycle you may not have this possibility, yet.

I guess that Sven is using the University version of ARIS (we are in the university related forum here). The simulation licence is not part of the university offer, neither any AI extension. That is what I critized earlier. Especially universities are the best place to test new features or features that are seldom used in the business like the simulation. It is a pity (and from my view a serious mistake) that SAG ARIS GmbH has such a restrictive licence policy towards universities. Through this SAG will not achieve that universities in general will buy "normal"  licences (normally there is no budget for expensive software licences).

Thanks for pointing this out. I don't think the intention is to sell "normal" licences to universities. The benefit of a university program is to have the next generation of academics getting in touch with our technology and enabling them to teach the concepts to the next generation that may be leading the business architecture in any customer organisation tomorrow. So I take your point that the simulation feature indeed would be a very nice piece to experiment with in the academic context.

The AI extension costs some serious money in operation, so that is a bit costly, when you provide it as a give-away.
