Wüstenrot & Württembergische (W&W) have radically redesigned its Internal Control Systems (ICS) implementing an automated, workflow-based risk management system. A fast implementation of an internal control system to Wüstenrot & Württembergische AG (W&W) was the goal and all stakeholders agreed that this is possible within a short time. Fast decisions, accurate strategy positions and a close picture about the complexity of the ICS helped W&W to be the winner in this race.

Companies are often afraid that the implementation of a modern ICS takes too much time. From time to time such thoughts crept over us as well. The project director at W&W always told us that we have to start at a point and not make a scientific task out of it. You simply have to start. The assembly of an ICS is comparable with good handcraft.

A good glass of wine later at our favourit restaurant and the statement about „handcraft“ in our mind we were again assured to do the right thing. No sooner said than done and true to the mission statement of Software AG „Get There Faster“ and with the help of IDS Scheer Consulting all tasks were mastered superbly and successful and within a short time the ARIS Solution for Governance, Risk & Compliance was productive. The project was a success all along the line.
