is it possible /from licence policy point of view/ to use Aris MashZone for visualizing some statistical data in public portals ( e.g e-services usage, by type, region, etc.) in specific portal portlet?
If no, is it work on this topic in progress?

yes, MashZone 2 will support the use case you describe. How integration could look like has been described here. To accomplish this you need MashZone 2 - Enterprise Edition. Yes, in version 2 there will be another edition.
