 Question:

I want to add more than 4 document links to an object, give them an title (as you do with the title1/link1 in the system attribute group)

Problems: In BA I can create my own attribute, define it as a link and It will link while in BA

- BUT i can not define a corresponding document title (so it comes up as C:\My dcoument.txt): What i want to achiev is that I can put in my own title for also these attributes (the same way i did for link1,2,3 & 4

The other problem .. when i publish the models - the attribute is not put as a link at all - so it just shows as text C:\My document.txt - with no document behind it

Unfortunately at the moment there is no way to create a user defined attribute that behaves exactly like one of the four link attributes. The reason is, that these four link attributes are put together by three different attributes that are handelt in a special way in ARIS. We will take this a s requirement for further development to consolidate the behavior of link attributes and user defined attributes of type link.

To use your own attribute as link also in BP would work, but you have to adapt the configuration file. The publisher engine has to know that this user defined attribute is of the type 'link', otherwise only the content will be displayed as text.

Hi Uwe

I'm using ARIS 9.8 and have the same problem. Do you have any suggestion?

And as you said that "To use your own attribute as link also in BP would work, but you have to adapt the configuration file."

Could you give advice on how to make this configuration?

Thank you

Sasinun

 Hi Uwe

Thanks for you help..

Question:  in which publsher files do you make these adjustments ?

Also - In the publisher export profile I see a reference to whats said - "User attribute link1" etc, could these attributes be used for the same purpose ?  However, i could not find these attributes (Using BPMN model, Data-object, ARIS 7.1)

Cheers

Tom
