The 7th ACM International Conference on Distributed Event-Based Systems is hosting a Grand Challenge in order to select a winner in real-time complex analytics over high velocity sensor data. The data, with which participants are going to work, originates from soccer players, playing in Nürnberg, Germany.
Software AG is very keen on getting involved with this event, as Big Data reflects the main benefit of our product Terracotta. Therefor we are contemplating to set up a prize competition among all participants that use Software AG technology.
We hope to see plenty representatives that take advantage of Software AG technology! This challenge demonstrates a great chance for young and ambitious students!

After consulting with the DEBS Grand Challenge Chairs we are excited to indicate, that the hard submission deadline is going to be March 15th. In virtue of our efforts, the deadline has been extended. However you should still try to register as soon as possible, as this following period is reserved for contacting Challenge organizers with questions and suggestions regarding the problem. Therefor: Register now and take your chance!
In quest of two Master students!
Within the frame of the DEBS Grand Challenge we are excited to announce that Software AG is going to hire two Master students who will compete for Software AG. These Master students will be able to complete their Master Thesis on the basis of the Grand Challenge, dealing with Big Data.
