Hello Community,
I have a question regarding the date format of the attribute.
First I set the method and interface language to English and I read the attribute "last change" from the model. The output value is "Jul 29, 2019 3:45:43 PM". However, when I change the both language configuration to German, the output value will be automatically converted to "29.07.2019 15:45:43". The result won't change when I change the login language.
I would like to ask if there is a method to read all the time string in a standard format regardless of the language configuration. Thank you in advance!
Best
Hello Ye,
if you are using Object.Attribute().getValue() on a time point attribute type it returns timestamp as a string.
You can format a date object by means of the Java SimpleDateFormat class, so you would need to transform the value of attribut last change from string to a date and then give it a format pattern like "dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm:ss".
A code example is in the last post of this thread.
