Hi,

Can somebody explan to me the way of licensing for MashZona?

We have our big client who wants to take 15 licenses of MashZona - where thay need to bay those licenses (by  websho or..)? Where are the differences between in Pesonal and Profesiona licenses?

And can you write to me the  technical explanation of Licensing (when I want to expend te number of user - that menas, a new license key or...)?

An the last question :-(  -  When will be available official version of MashZone?

BR,

Marko

I would think the official answer would be that you might have to wait until thje product is beeing released. But I would check Helge/Markus presentations from user days and process world, they have some basic info about this.

Generally in comparison to PPM and ARIS the mashup licensing should not be an issue financially...

Hi Marko,

from a technical point of view licensing means entering a license key in MashZone - see the Administration panel. The license you enter enables features and controls the number of users that have access to one MashZone server.

The version that has been published during the restricted beta phase (which started at ARIS userDay 09) comes as the Professional Edition. In the smaller Personal Edition some features, e.g. to grant user rights for MashApps and Feeds is omitted. There will be a detailed feature matrix on the official ARIS MashZone product website. Its go live will be at the same time as the product is published.

One of the distribution channels will be a self service online store where both editions (Personal and Professional ) are available.

If there are further questions regarding your specific customer please contact me via email since such discussion should not take place in this semi-public forum.

Regarding licenses... Is it normal to find a limitation in the number of rows accepted from a data source?

I received a message from Mashzone that only 1000 rows will processed.

I understand the single user limit but this limit on data takes out the value on testing it.

Hi David,

the number of rows per data source limit is 10k in the Professional Edition. Please note that there is also an column limit which is 32 and 48 respectively.

Regards

Stephan

Thank you for your reply.

Is there any document that states the different limitations depending on versions (Free, Personal and Professional)?

Best regards,

David.
