Create connection

You can create connections between two objects and the program supports you in this with selections and icons.

Procedure

1. Click on the Connection () button in the modeling toolbar. The button will be framed.
2. Click in the middle of the source object.
3. Click in the middle of the target object.

The connection is created at the center of the border of the objects.

Tip

If you use the Mini toolbar to place objects, connections between two objects will be created without you having to explicitly draw them.

Note

• If a connection cannot be used to link two objects, a prohibitory sign will be displayed.
• You can create one connection between two objects.
