Enable connection mode

Once you have enabled the Connection mode button () in the toolbar, you will always be offered the anchor points for connections when you move the mouse pointer over the border of objects. The button is enabled if it is framed.

If you do not want to be offered anchor points for connections when you move the mouse pointer over the border of objects, click again on the Connection mode () button in the toolbar to remove the frame from the button.
