Renaming objects

You can change object names directly in the model or in the Object properties dialog.

Procedure

Change name in the model

1. Right-click on the relevant object and then on Rename. Alternatively, press F2 after selecting the object. The name of the object is selected for overtyping.
2. Enter the desired name. You can insert a line break by pressing the Ctrl + Enter keys.
3. Press Enter to confirm.

The object now has the new name.

Change name in the dialog

1. Right-click on the relevant object and then on Properties. The Object properties dialog opens.
2. Activate the Attributes entry.
3. Enter the required name in the Name line.

Click on OK to close the dialog.

The object now has the new name.
