Model type
Basic models that each combine/represent a particular area of enterprise modeling, e.g., control flow (business process) or data modeling. You can create models based on model types.
To model a business process, for example, you use the Business process model type as a basis. This model type combines all processes that have a logical chronological order.
On the one hand, you can use it to model the events and activities that occur when a company receives a customer order, for example. On the other hand, you can also represent the events and activities that must take place in order to implement changed quality management guidelines in a company.
The business process offered in ARIS Express is therefore used simply as a superior method for various typical flows that are structured according to time and logic. By modeling a specific flow and adding specific attribute values to it, you produce a model with specific and actual content and/or references.
