ADF

File extension of the ARIS Document Format file format.

Files in this format contain your models created with ARIS Express. If you double-click on the name of a file with this format in Windows Explorer, ARIS Express is started and the file opens. If a password has been assigned to a model, you will be asked to enter this password. Then you can access the password-protected model.

You can import ADF files into a full version of ARIS, e.g., into ARIS Business Architect, and edit them there. If you use the ARIS Express filter and template in ARIS Business Architect, the appearance of models will be the same as in ARIS Express.
