Create model - The first step

You can create models easily using ARIS Express.

Procedure

1. Click on a model type on the start page.
2. Click on a symbol in the Symbols pane.
3. Click in the model to place the symbol.
4. Enter a name and press the Enter key.
5. Place further symbols. To do this, use the Mini toolbar or continue to use the Symbols pane.
6. Draw connections between symbols that are not yet connected.
7. Click on Save to save the model.

Tip

If you do not want to return to the start page, you can click on New in the toolbar, and then select a model type.
