Select file/Export file dialog
Select the file you want to import, or export the selected objects or the model to a file.
Look in
Enables you to select a drive or folder. The content of the selected drive or folder is shown in the list below it.
File and folder list
List of files and folders contained in the drive or folder you selected in the Look in box.
- Double-click on a folder to open it.
- Click on a file to select it to be opened.
Double-click on a file to open it directly.
Up one level button
Opens the folder that is located one level higher than the active folder.
Desktop button
Switches directly to your computer's desktop.
Create new folder button
Creates a new folder within the active folder.
List button
Changes the display of the file and folder list so that only the file and folder names are displayed.
Details button
Changes the display of the file and folder list so that additional information, such as the file size, is displayed alongside the file and folder names.
Preview
Displays the contents of the selected file.
File name
Name of the file to be opened. In the file and folder list you can click on the file or directly enter the file name.
File type
File type that is displayed in the file and folder list.
Help
Opens this help page for the dialog.
Import/Export
Depending on whether you have opened the dialog to import or export a file, the button's name is Import or Export.
If you have opened the dialog with the purpose of performing an import, the file displayed in the File name box will be imported once you click on the button.
If you have opened the dialog with the purpose of performing an export you can select an existing file or enter a new file name. Clicking on the button will export the objects or the model to the file whose name is entered in the File name box.
Cancel
Closes the dialog without applying the changes.
