Event definition

Attribute: Outputs the type of event in models of BPMN diagram type. Possible values:

• None
• Compensation
• Conditional
• Error
• Escalation
• Message
• Cancel
• Multiple
• Parallel multiple
• Signal
• Timer
• Terminate
• Link

Depending on whether it is a start, intermediate, or end event, only suitable object symbols are offered when placing an object. For example, you cannot place a start event as an error event.

The type of event is represented by the event symbol.
