Dear all experts,
I'm current on version 9.7. (ARIS design server + ARIS architect)
I run into "ARIS Design Server Not Available" error whenever I try to run query.
I read in another post where someone rectified the issue by restarting octopus (Analysis Server), but this doesn't work for me.
I took a look at the client log and saw this line:
"Octopus Server responded with code 404 to request /octopus/adapters"
Anyone can help interpret code 404? Where can I locate the corresponding log in the server (we're running on Windows environment)? There are like tons of log files there.
Regards
KH
Dear KH,
Such technical issues can hardly be solved here. Therefore, please contact Global Support ARIS via Software AG Empower/eService. I suggest to attach your log files on your support ticket. The log files can be easily zipped via collectLogFiles.zip in folder C:\SoftwareAG\ARIS9.7\Support.
Cheers
Rune
Hi all, an update to the issue.
Finally resolved the issue after long round of investigations with the help of ARIS global helpdesk.
Collected tons of logs, numerous server/platform restarts, eliminated probability of network connectivity issue, added system resources (vCPUs) to my design server, put in diagnostic patch to octopus runnables...all don't seemed to work.
Problem lies with my connection string. I was connected to port 10081 (abs_m runnable) since day 1. Switched over to port 80 and all is good.
Great thanks to the lads at SAG :) managed to pick up some ACC commands along the way too.
