100s of log.xxxxxx and snapshot.xxxxxx files being written to disk every minute

Hi folks,

I am seeing 100s of log.xxxxxx and snapshot.xxxxxx files being written to disk, the folder location is ...\ARIS10.0\server\bin\work\work_zoo_m\version-2

The contents of the files look like verbose logging... and very aggressive at that. Each file is 8MB and about 1GB of these files are being written every minute to this folder. The current size of the folder is 128GB.

Would appreciate any information on what these are and how to stop this bizarre behaviour.
