Time filters and comparisions to previous time periods

Is there a way of selecting weekly from the time filter widget?
Can you group a set on numbers that relate to a date into a weekly total - w/c or w/e?
Can that weekly period be shown as a axis in a line or bar graph?
Is it possible to compare one time slice against another - i.e. this week v's last week, this month verses last month, this period verses last period, this year verses last year - and year to date if the company year is different to the fiscal year?

Sorry for the delay in responding but I have been progressing more of the simple tasks in MashZone and now I am back to this issue that I need to resolve.

I used the link for the video - but it is a private video and I could not view it - do you have any more suggestions as to how I can achieve what I am looking to do on time filters and date comparisons?
