Hello,
I am struggling to make ARIS lunches. It was working properly until morning. Tried to reinstall several versions of Java, deleted the download client folder, cleared Java webstart cache and still not working. I am attaching Java consloe log below:

Hi,
you kind of "destroyed" our local JRE installation.
See in your logs: C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Java80\jre\bin\default;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Java80\jre\bin\java.exe"
This is not a valid path for an JRE. ARIS wants to get the information, where your JRE is installed locally, but the system delivers a strange path to you ARIS.
Maybe this happens via an automatic update of the JRE... can't tell from our side.
There are 3 ways to solve this:
1.) Tidy up your system. Clean up all your JRE installations and install a new one (I recommend that)
- or -
2.) use a "private" JRE. That means. create a JRE.zip and place it on the server. More information can be found in installation/administration document.
Please check, what happens if you just open a command prompt and type "java -version". If that does not work, you have a problem with your JRE installation.
Bye,
Frank
Ah, I have forgotten one thing, that can help to to check:
Type this in a command promp:
java -XshowSettings:all
That will print out the JRE settings. Search for the value of the key: sun.boot.library.path
This is the installation path of the JRE, that ARIS is searching for. If that value is not maintained, ARIS searches for "java.home" and adds a "bin".
If these values a not simple paths, but the strange values we have seen in the log and mentioned by my post above, this is an installation issue of the JRE.
Bye,
Frank
