Dear all,

I'm trying to install ADS and APS with a MS SQL Database.

Following the steps of ARIS Server Installation and Administration Guide I have to use the scripts provided

envset.bat and inst.bat for ADS

create_db.sql for APS

Do I need to use two different data bases? Or just I have to use envset.bat and inst.bat, and install APS with the same database as ADS?

I'm questioning this trouble because inst.bat also finally calls create_db.sql

Hello Aleix,

As far as I understood, ADS and APS (which must run on separate servers) use two different databases, configurable in the .bat & .sql statements you mentioned. This is our infrastructure for our ARIS9.7 environment: two databases, eventually on the same SQL server instance.
