aris express download does not work.

what does "setup.exe file does not work" mean? Error messages during installation? What kind of error messages? Or during first execution (a one time registration is necessary)?

Aris Express on Mac is a little bit tricky. You have to install the Java Runtime (JRE) from the Oracle page seperately. Then I heard (I am not a Mac user) that Aris Express/some modules are detected as malware (see: https://ariscommunity.com/users/pennyb/2024-09-01-cannot-download-aris-express-my-applemac-giving-me-warning-its-malware).

In this case you can overwrite the security settings temporarily (see https://support.apple.com/de-de/102445):

A general point: If you want to explore the actual ARIS features I recommend a free trial of the cloud version "ARIS Advanced" valid for one month. (see https://ariscommunity.com/get-full-aris/cloud). ARIS Express is free of charge and is good to learn, how to use EPC or BPMN for process modelling, but it has no database, only some model types, no repository, no viewer mode, no further reporting, no collaboration, no customizations etc.
