Hi! I've downloaded ARIS Express and when I tried to run the "express JNLP" file, the following message was shown: "Security Exception: java.net.MalformedURLException: unkown protocol: socket".
What does it mean? What do I have to do to fix it?

another user had the same problem. It turned out, that the proxy settings where not correct.

So please open System panel -> Java -> first page -> network settings
Make sure, "use browser settings" is switched on. (You can also try "direct connection" but you should only try this as a fallback).
Please check also the proxy settings in System panel -> internet options -> connections.
The point is, that WebStart is not able to download the JARs, because your system does not have the correct settings, or the proxy simply does not allow the download.
