You can use the Merge option to transfer models between databases but there are some information that you need to check before. For example you have to login into databases using the same filter ( usually the same user too ), and merge will keep the same structure copied to target database and if have the same structure can replace the already existing information.
I suggest you to do a backup of databases before to start, and to run the merge, just select the model from source database and use right click above the name of target database > past as > merge and use the wizard options.
There is other way to transfer models and can also use 'export model as xml', just right click on the model > export > xml. To import the xml, right click above one group folder > import > xml.
The xml is more used to transfer information to external system.
Do a backup before to start and check the results first.
to copy models/folder between databases is called "merge". You cannot simply drag and drop the model/folder.
For using the merge function click on the model/folder and click copy then you right click on the database icon of the db where you want to "copy" and use the function called merge the model/folder. A wizard will appear which guides you through the merging procedure.
Note: You need the respective user privileges for using the merge function.
