Definition copy creates a new object in the database.

Eg. You and your twin will be 2 different definition copies. 2 different people basically.

Occurrence copy is a copy of the object.

Eg. If you clone yourself, 1 goes to work, 1 does gardening, 1 walks the dog, 1 swipes the floor... That would be occurrence copy. Same person, occurs at different places.

Hi,

I like your graphical explanations. Though I associate "cloning" with a second individual, which brings the example back to the twins.

I'd say occurrence copy is like making selfies in different situations. And that would work out well with your second image.
