the new file format of the filter file.amc is not a XML text format , is it a compress formatt? Is there special unzip application to see the filter configuration as XML text or is necessary to develop a macro to export filter information ?

I'm referring to ARIS 6.x or 7.0 versions, when you export the filter into .amc file is possible to see the xml in clear format and parse the XML fileto produce a custom report.
The new .amc file format looks someting like compressed data and is not in XML clear format (human readable).
My question is if is possible to export the .amc filter into XML as it did with previous ARIS versions (e.g. 6.x or 7.0).

Yes, you are most probably referring to ARIS 6.x. No, as far as I know it is not possible to turn the current filter format into XML again.

If you say "new filter format", which ARIS version have you been using previously? I'm not aware of any application to unzip the current format. But of course you can import the filter and study it directly in ARIS.
