Hello,
I had created a symbol in the Aris Symbol Editor. I could add it successfully in the Administration-Configuration-Method-Symbols section of Aris Business Architect in the desired server. The symbol can be seen there,but when I am trying to add it to the an EPC,it isn't depicting in the Add Symbols box. I tried restarting Aris and then checking,it still can't be added in the modelling toolbar.. What should I do???

Hi Anaya,
While creating a new symbol, if the original symbol from which the new symbol was created is available in an EPC model, then only you will be able to see the new symbol in the symbol palette on the EPC model. For example, if you create a symbol from an 'Application system type' symbol and since 'Application system type' symbol is available in EPC, only then you will be able to see your new symbol in the symbol palette in the EPC model. Please refer the screenshot below. Hope this will be helpful.

Hi Anaya,
When you are creating your own symbol the original symbol should be ARIS default symbol only. From an ARIS default symbol you can create a new symbol and can have new graphic also selected of the same. Having a symbol which is entirely new (without any Original symbol) is not possible (If that is what you are looking for). All you can do is, select a symbol which is available in the EPC model and select the 'New...' option at the top. Then give appropriate name to the new symbol and select the graphic.

Dear Rahul,
I created a symbol named 'Prevention' in Symbol Editor.
I followed the path Administration-desired server-Configuration- Method-Symbols.
I then selected 'Function' box,because i need a new symbol in an EPC model,then clicked 'New',added the Prevention symbol I had created.
Then I went in Designer, opened a new EPC,I still can not see the symbol 'Prevention' I have created.
Please let me know where I am going wrong.
