Hello,
I want to access the anonymous login in Aris Business Publisher. Whenver i use username=anonymous, password=anonymous, I get a message 'There are currently no profiles available.'
I would like to know how do you create a profile? I have published two databases of the server I am currently working on. However,I can view them in publisher only if I login with the credentials provided to me (and 24 other people) when the licence was purchased by my company. There are other people I want to show the models to, however,I won't always be around to show them. Hence I want the anonymous access, but apparently its not working.
Can anyone please help me with this?
Thanks in advance,
Anaya
Hello Anaya,
you can select a profile in the Business Publisher administration. To open the administration you have to log in with an user with administration role. The default user with administration role is the "root" user (same pwd).
In the administration GUI select "Profiles". In this section you find all access profiles that are available for you different web exports. Select one or more profiles to use a profile for "anonymous" access. For example:

Dear Jens,
Thank you so much for your help..!
I also wanted to know.. in Aris Business Architect, there is an option called 'Users' where administrator can add or remove multiple users for a database.
Also after the database is published, using his own credentials(as per the admin has assigned) that particular user can view the model in publisher to which he has access.
If all this can be done by in the Architect, what is the use of publisher licenses?
Thanks,
Anaya
My issue is we have created annonymous access to users instead of actual username and password.
Whenever any Microsoft patch update goes in, the annonymous access tick mark in the profile page gets unchecked.
Is it a genuine problem with annonymous access , why its happening and is there a workaround for this? Please help
