Hello Aris community,
I am a PhD student in computer science and my thesis concerns business processes errors and compensation handling. Basically, we are working to develop a framework to let business process designers model easily their exceptional paths in a business process.
I am currently looking for real world business process models in order to validate our approach. Since process models are usually sensitive business material I am having hard time to find such processes. Of course I could come up with some but this would not be acceptable for validation (it would be biaised).
So I am asking for your help (both community and Aris staff). Do you know where I can find such processes? Do you have any to share? Are there Aris reference processes that are either public or that I could use with a non-disclosure agreement?
Thanks a lot for your help!
PS.: I new to Aris, I am still downloading the platform. I am glad that I found out of an academic community sharing my interests!
Hi,
if you got connections to academic community, you can try to get access to the so called SAP reference models done for SAP R3.
In general, you can look at any framework like eTom, TOGAF, etc. They have many reference processes, which you could rely on.
You might also want to take a look at example processes uploaded by other ARIS Express users like:

I already asked the question regarding SAP reference models. They exist of course on ARIS, and you can even synchronize ARIS models with SAP Solution Manager processes. But for that, your need ARIS for SAP solution, which is not included in academic paclage...
