For example, I work with model organisation structure and I change symbol panel (add or delete some object symbols), so what file can I find some information about this action?

When you use the ARIS Architect, all these predefined settings are available on the user's folder at c:\users\username\ARIS10\ and usually it works when you change your computer by moving this folder to a new one for example.

Hello Anna,
since ARIS Connect is a browser based application, I would not expect to find any such information locally on your system. The server will store these settings for you.

Hi,
Most likely you mean the modification resp. configuration sets. You find them in the administration of ARIS connect. There are xml files that you can customize according to your needs.
Or do you mean symbols for modelling?

I understood Anna is after the individual users' settings like which attributes the user decided to show or hide in the properties panel, which symbols he added to the symbol palette or not, etc.
I have no knowledge, where this might be stored on the server. If I were deciding on this in R&D I would probably not put this on the file system, but in some database table in the UMC or the design component. Just guessing.
On the other hand: Why such curiosity? What is the objective of obtaining this information?
Hello, M. Zschuckelt. Yes, you are right, I'm interesting about symbol panel. We have large methodology and there are many symbols are in filter. So, users has spent some times to search need symbol. So, I think, may be I can did some settings for symbol panel, for decrease aout of symbols.

@Anna Popa: the only way I know is by customizing the filter. Our filter, however, contains a few more symbols than the user might need when s/he gets started. So, we typically remove and add symbols in the symbol panel together with a new user during an introductory session. Those settings are saved/cached and we never encountered any issues with that.

As I understand, if user did some change for symbol panel (add or delete symbols), so all change will save.

Yes, exactly! In fact, during today's ARIS user group DACH session, I also brought up your request. And we found it not very handy the way it is managed today. So we created an idea for that- feel free to vote for that once it is published.
