Hello ARIS Friends!
I faced with following strange situation. I worked with model in ARIS Connect. Then I closed it .
So, I opened this model today, and I see that this model has statuis " model can not be open for edit because this model already edit by (my user). It is strange , because I 'm not working now with this model. I check in ARIS Admin under admin user, and I see that there are no some active session for this model.
How I can work again with this model?

I believe that it is a caching issue- we also face it from time to time. My impression is that it occurs mostly (not only, but very often) when users are idle using ARIS. So, the session was terminated due to a timeout (not because the user closed a tab).
I usually recommend to kill the local and the session caches and the cookies in the browser's developer tools, and then close ARIS. Afterwards, it tends to work again. Maybe this helps some of you :)
I can agree that this indeed sometimes happens without any (for me) recognizable reason. Often it helps when you logout AND close the browser session. Otherwise don' t panic and wait as Andrea wrote.
Unlock in ARIS Architect is related to lock/unlock models and objects to avoid modifications in the repository.

If you go to Administration and open the User Management options > users > General, there you can define the Maximum session duration, perhaps can reduce this value to release the users in shortly time.

Hi Anna,
we face this situation regularly and I have not succeeded yet to find a pattern. Colleagues reported that they just close a model and when they try to open it a little bit later, it's still locked for editing by themselves.
There is some hope: Latest next day, the model is unlocked again ;-)
Would be great if somebody knows how to unlock the locked models (Unlocking as admin in ARIS Architect does not work) or if this is just a bug that needs to be fixed? We are working with ARIS 10 SR26.
