Automatically carrying over attributes from Higher Level Object to Lower Level Object that resides on it

Hello everyone,

I have an Application System Type Object that has two date attributes. Residing on that object are Application System Objects. I want the date attributes from the Application System Type Object to somehow be automatically carried over to the Application System Object. I am not sure if there is a built in feature that does something like this already, or if a Macro or Script can be written to do this, or anything else for that matter, but I am open to all ideas. If you do suggest a Macro to do this, can you please provide the code? Thanks!

We do not have an out-of-the-box functionality, because it would be quite complex for the customer to define the navigation way in the Attribute-Maintenance-Wizard.

But of course you can use the scripting, both macro and report are possible. The difference is, that a report works only at server side on persistent data. I'd prefer a macro that starts with an event notification everytime the attribute at the AST has been changed. The collection of the connected objects is not too complicated, I assume that our standard scripts contain examples you could use for implementation.
