Hello, I am writing to ask for some installation support please.
We are testing the installation of ARIS 7.2.4. - ARIS Business Server and ARIS Business Publisher Server. I have installed all the installation EXEs from the ARIS Download Center - all v7.2.4.
We are installing them on a clean machine of O/S Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x86 with DB of SQL 2005 SP4; 4GB RAM.
I have managed to get the ARIS Business Server installed and running (finally getting over issues with the Microsoft JDBC Drivers for SQL and the ports numbers ARIS uses (1433)).
However, when I run the setup.exe for the ARIS Business Publisher Server, it extracts (in that InstallShield dialog with a progress bar) then immediately I get an Information message saying "The installed ARIS Business Publisher-Version is too old. Please deinstall.". and when I click on [OK] to remove the message, the installer has exited.
The weird thing is I have never installed the ARIS Business publisher Server on this test machine; Only the ARIS Business Server.
What does the message mean? Why am I getting it? What can I do to get past it to install the ARIS Business Publisher Server?
Any help would be appreciated.
