ARIS 7,1 and Windows 10

Hi,

I have ARIS 7.1 installed under Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 4. Works good with just a small drawback:

The resolution during editing an object is completely strange.

I have already tried the different´settings ("disable scaling, various compatibility modes)

Can someone help?

Dear Wolfgang,

Congrats that you installed ARIS 7.1, released 5 years ago, on an OS released a few months ago.

But the high screen resolution of MS Surface can't be really used with ARIS 7.

In case you have no option to get a newer ARIS version, such as newest 9.8 SR2, then I recommend you to install ARIS 7.1 in a virtual environment (VirtualBox or VMware) on an older Windows, could be even Windows XP.

MS Surface should offer sufficient performance to virtualize ARIS.
