Extend Aris Meta-Model

New object and new relationship, not a chance as yet.

But you can create new symbols on top of existing symbols and they will inherit their parent properties. 

Similarly you can create new model type based upon existing models.

Attributes and attributes group can be added as desire.

Rumor has it that in newer version ARIS meta-model will support this feature. but right now No.

Just a follow-up question on this. If I create two new symbols 'SpecialSymbol1' and 'SpecialSymbol2' that both are of type 'Function'.

Can I then add some attribute to 'SpecialSymbol1' and others to 'SpecialSymbol2'?

Also, can I create a report that list all of the 'SpecialSymbol1' but none of the others?

Answer to your first question:
"Attributes can be defined for any model, object definition and connection definition; i.e. you can maintain Description/Details attributes for any object definitions, model or connection definition, again depending upon your filter setting. Attributes definition for symbols are not possible with ARIS."

While for second question, yes, with ARIS Report Wizard it's very easy to create a report like that based upon the symbols.
